5 SECONDS OF SUMMER

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER is a pop-rock band from Sídney, Australia formed by Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin. The original band just were Michael, Calum and Luke, who met at school and started posting covers on Luke's Youtube cannel (hemmo1996). The band's name doesn't really have a meaning, they just came up with it while eating ice cream. They needed a drummer, so they contacted Ashton over Facebook to come to their rehasals, and they finally completed the band on the 3rd of December 2011. On 2012 Louis Tomlinson (One Direction singer) found their Youtube channel and really liked them, so the band made a decision to bring the boys with them on their 2013 Take Me Home Tour, and people really liked them. On 2014 One Direction also brought them on tour, but this time on their 2014 Were We Are Tour. During this tour (most specifically on the 27th of June) they realased their first album, 5 Seconds Of Summer.  On the 15th of December 2014 they released their first live album: LiveSos. In May 2015, the band embarked their first headlining tour "Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour" of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. On 17 July 2015, 5 Seconds of Summer released the first single "She's Kinda Hot" from their upcoming second studio album.On 12 August 2015, the band announced that their second studio album is called Sounds Good Feels Good. It will be released worldwide on 23 October 2015.
